Daily Disciplines

Daily Disciplines

“The discipline you learn and character you build from setting and achieving a goal can be more valuable than the achievement of the goal itself.” ~Bo Bennett

Did you set some goals for 2018?

Here are a few quotes to inspire you to stick to your commitments.

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” ~Mark Twain

Start with daily disciplines. Small things. Pick one thing and do it daily. One thing. Like take your vitamins or do five sit-ups, or read a book for five minutes. Whatever. Just pick ONE thing and do it every day, for seven days.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” ~Confucius

  • Then, do it every week. Setting a weekly objective helps break a big goal down to achievable bite-size pieces.

“Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.” ~Theodore Roosevelt

  • Dreaming is good. But watch where you’re walking.

“Good, better, best. Never let it rest.
‘Til your good is better and your better is best.” St. Jerome

  •  And just keep going.
