Words Matter

Words Matter

“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity.” ~ Yehuda Berg

I wanted to write something new and insightful and brilliant about communication this week.

And then I can came across the quote below, new to me, and brilliant in content and construction. I offer it for your own insights.

“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity.

We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair.

Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” ~Yehuda Berg

Hard to improve on that.

So, I’ll leave you with this:

Watch what you say today, and every day. I still remember words uttered and heard decades ago, don’t you?

Because words matter.

Whether thought, spoken or acted upon, they matter.

And their effects can last a lifetime.

Communication, Connection, and Collaboration—the three “C’s”—are the cornerstones of all successful businesses. They are the result of Emotional Intelligence in action.

More details can be found in my recent best seller with co-author Jennifer Eggers:
Resilience: It’s Not About Bouncing Back

The power of resilience within organizations can transform an average company into a powerhouse. Yet, even in times of rapid disruptive change, there is no manual for building resilient organizations. This book is that manual.

“If you  want to build more resilience intentionally—personally and professionally—read this book.
